"Fire and Blood" is also a rich mine of information and world-building, offering readers a greater understanding of Westeros' history, culture, and mythology. Martin's commitment to detail is clear throughout, whether he's portraying the beautiful dragons that once ruled the sky or the complex politics of the Seven Kingdoms.
